Red Notice Removal Assessment

Not every INTERPOL Red Notice raises the same legal issues. The first useful step is to separate what is known, what remains unverified and which documents may support a challenge to the processing of personal data. This short assessment helps you organise those questions before deciding whether to consult a lawyer.

Important: This is an educational screening tool. It does not search police databases, determine whether you have a Red Notice, decide eligibility for deletion, submit an application to the CCF or replace case-specific advice. A lawyer must review the documents and current INTERPOL rules.

Educational guidance only. This tool does not search INTERPOL records, assess legal eligibility, send data to CCF, or replace qualified legal advice.

Your answers stay in this browser page and are cleared when you reset or refresh. They are not sent to analytics or stored on a server.

Step 1 of 6

What do you know about your INTERPOL data?

Is there an immediate arrest, detention or hearing issue?

Which official documents are available?

Do any of these issues appear relevant?

Has an official proceeding changed?

Is there an earlier CCF decision and a newly discovered material fact?

Official submission instructions are published by the Commission itself: Official INTERPOL CCF Portal Instructions. This page does not submit anything on your behalf.

What the assessment considers

The tool asks whether you have confirmed information about an INTERPOL record; whether detention or an extradition deadline makes the situation urgent; whether you have an official document identifying the allegation; whether a political, private-dispute or human-rights issue is relevant; whether your case has changed through a court decision; and whether the CCF has previously reached a decision. You can select Not sure or Prefer not to say where offered. No single answer proves that INTERPOL's rules were broken.

What you receive

At the end, the tool shows a short non-diagnostic pathway summary, relevant source-document checklist and a set of links to the appropriate guide or service. Possible pathways include verify your INTERPOL record, review the documents for a data challenge, consider whether Article 42 revision is relevant and seek urgent local legal help. These are not success predictions.

You may choose to consult CIL after reviewing the result. No answer should be transmitted automatically to the contact form or marketing tools. The only information provided to CIL is what you separately elect to send through its verified contact process.

Documents that may improve an initial review

  • The original warrant, summons, indictment or official notification, if available.
  • An extradition order, detention record or hearing notice, with deadlines clearly visible.
  • A final judgment, dismissal order, refusal of extradition or decision on refugee status, if relevant.
  • Any CCF decision, admissibility notice or official correspondence already received.
  • An accurate chronology of the national proceeding and events that changed the case.

Do not upload passports, identity numbers or detailed allegations into this assessment. If you require confidential document exchange, request instructions through the verified contact page.

What a lawyer assesses that a questionnaire cannot

CCF review concerns personal-data processing under INTERPOL's rules. It does not determine criminal guilt or overturn a national warrant. A qualified review considers the full requesting-state record, the individual's specific role, prior proceedings, procedural admissibility and the scope of any applicable national court decision. A Red Notice is not itself an international arrest warrant, and different countries apply their own law to arrest and extradition.

A person who is detained, or faces a hearing within days, should contact qualified local defence or extradition counsel immediately, rather than waiting for an online assessment result or a potential CCF response.

Frequently asked questions

Does this assessment confirm that I am on an INTERPOL list?

No. There is no live access to INTERPOL's restricted files. The absence of a public listing is not proof that data do not exist.

Will answering 'political persecution' mean a notice can be removed?

No. Political context is only one potential issue and requires case-specific evidence and legal analysis. Claims are not accepted solely because they are selected in a questionnaire.

Is my assessment stored?

The tool is specified to keep answers only in the current browser session's application memory, with no persistence, remote transfer or analytics of responses. Refreshing or resetting clears it. The implementation must be privacy-tested before release.

Can CIL file an official CCF request for me?

Subject to an agreed engagement and the CCF's representation requirements, an authorised representative may prepare and submit a request through the official CCF portal. This questionnaire does not itself submit anything.
